Putting brands in the spotlight
The team at Orion Creative has been pretty busy over the past couple of months, creating fresh new looks, engaging new collateral, and exciting new campaigns. We’ve put the spotlight on three of our favourite projects over recent times – logo design for a new deli, localising and enhancing a White Paper for a 3D construction tech company, and illustrations for school presentations on behalf of a leading water technology company.
East Lindfield deli gets an appetising new logo
East Village Providores is an exciting newly opened deli located in leafy East Lindfield, on Sydney’s upper north shore. The owners have run a successful deli in Beecroft for quite some years and wanted to create a similar yet different offering with a real village atmosphere.
They approached Orion Creative to develop a number of logo alternatives for their new business that would position the deli as a high quality purveyor of treats, smallgoods, cold-cut meats, cheeses, olives and coffee, along with exotic and tantalising delicacies.
The brief was to come up with four different logo directions which would portray the new delicatessen as a desirable place to visit and shop, on a regular basis. They wanted something trendy, premium and minimalist, which suited the location and was easy on the eye. The client was delighted with the logo design and shopfront signage style that they selected.
New localised White Paper for 3D capture platform provider
Cupix provides cloud-based software to create digital-twin 3D modelling for the Architects, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry worldwide. New to Australia and New Zealand, the company needed to localise, update and enhance an existing U.S. collateral piece and was recommended by a partner organisation to approach Orion Creative to quote for copywriting and graphic design.
The Orion team came back with a proposal to redesign the existing PowerPoint-based eBook into a more valuable White Paper, which would feature the latest statistics and trends from our region. Constructive information, imagery reflective of the ANZ market, and infographics that explained complex tech and scenarios to recipients of all levels, were key features of this transformation.
The finished result exceeded the expectations of the Cupix ANZ team. They were able to share the new White Paper with prospects, partners and their suppliers across multiple digital marketing channels and alongside pitch proposals. Cupix ANZ gained terrific feedback on the engaging nature and professionalism of the content and imagery used throughout this new asset.
Global water technology company goes back to school
Xylem is a leader in global water technology that is committed to solving critical water and infrastructure challenges with innovation. The company is present in 150 countries and has 17,000 employees worldwide. Orion has handled over 100 jobs of varying types and scale for Xylem in Australia over recent years, and this special educational project saw the company headed back to school.
The business was seeking to develop a fun and informative presentation they could take to primary schools to help teachers educate kids about water usage, pollution and sustainability – to replace a PowerPoint file which they conceded was a bit busy, messy and hard to follow. The client’s brief was to “make this cool & groovy and fun & educational.”
An illustrative approach was decided upon and a talented Orion designer used the Adobe Illustrator program to draw pictures in an engaging style. The new presentation resonated very well with teachers and children alike and the client was very happy with the end result.
