Putting brands in the spotlight
The Orion Creative team has been pretty busy over the past few months, creating new branding approaches and rolling out exciting new campaigns. We’ve put the spotlight on three of our favourite projects over recent times – a new logo and website redesign for a sales leads company, a hydraulic repair solutions ad campaign for the crane industry, and promoting a computing company’s prior-customer-renewal initiative.
Joining the dots with engaging design for Direct it
‘Direct it’ is a leading data-driven demand generation company. After seeing what Orion Creative has done and can do in the rebranding space, they appointed the agency to come up with a new logo, redesign their website and refresh home page content, create a new set of corporate ID including letterheads, email signatures and sales presentations.
We provided the client with five different logo designs, and the treatment they went with accentuates and makes a feature out of the two dotted ‘i’s, adding six more dots and a full stop in an arc. The client loved our interpretation of this approach with the dots representing leads or prospects, and the curve being leads taken on a journey through to final decision.
The new branding has been applied on the Direct it website and is progressively being rolled out by Orion Creative across all of their internal and external collateral.
Going to extraordinary lengths for a crane campaign
Berendsen Fluid Power is a big player in the Australian hydraulic cylinder repair industry. Orion Creative has handled dozens of projects for them over recent years, covering graphic design, content, web development and paid social media B2B campaigns.
The brief on our most recent project for Berendsen was to promote their offering for crane owners and major operators across a new landing page, digital ads, SEO search, marketing collateral, and event booth signage.
Working closely with the company and their external marketing consultant, Orion Creative put together a small team which utilised the inhouse skills of digital graphic designers and web developers. The end-result was greater awareness for the company within the crane industry and more enquiries too.
Making sustainability for business look terrific!
Orion was contacted by Vercoe Events, who were after a creative way to contact their client’s dormant C-level customers, and then send them to a custom-made landing page with the aim of these former customers booking a meeting with Hitachi Vantara (Vercoe’s client) to discuss ways to reduce their company’s carbon footprint.
An appealing gift for booking the appointment was agreed upon, being a leather alternative laptop briefcase, hand-made from sustainably sourced cork. Working collaboratively with Vercoe events, our designer on this job created a fancy custom-designed box made of sustainable recycled material, to align with the sustainability flavour of the gift and the overall Hitachi Vantara initiative of focusing on how sustainability is good for business.
The project also saw our team design and build a landing page, create and send out three EDMs to promote the offer, along with the custom-designed box and a ‘thank you’ swing tag. Our client, Vercoe Events, and theirs, Hitachi Vantara, were totally delighted with the results.
